Employer and vacancy terms
Submitting vacancies
- Standard vacancy listings on The Local Page jobs board are free. Featured vacancies and other paid promotions are covered by the advertising terms.
- You must be authorised by the employer to submit the vacancy, and the details must be accurate.
- Vacancies are moderated before publication, normally within [moderation timescale], and expire automatically on their stated deadline (or after 45 days if no deadline is given).
- The application method you provide — a link to your own careers page or an application email — is shown to jobseekers exactly as given. The Local Page is not involved in your recruitment process.
Discrimination and lawful vacancies
Vacancies must comply with the Equality Act 2010 and all employment law. We will refuse or remove vacancies that are unlawful or misleading. Jobseeker profiles on this site are for discovery; nothing in them constitutes a job application to you.
Employer accounts
Employer accounts are activated by The Local Page after basic checks. Activation gives access to employer-visible jobseeker profiles and the ability to request contact through us. It never includes jobseekers' private contact details or CVs, which are shared only with the jobseeker's separate agreement.
Data
Your submission contact details are private and never published. See the privacy notice for how we handle your information.
